In the spring of 2017, South Beach, San Francisco welcomed Hotel VIA, a boutique, luxury hotel dedicated to technology, the environment, and the highest level of personalized hospitality and service. Located across the street from the iconic AT&T Park, Hotel VIA is at the epicenter of the best in San Francisco.
Before breaking ground, we were appointed to develop the identity of the hotel. Everything from the name, to the logo, to the website, to the collateral was created before the foundation of the hotel was laid. Once we had our name, we created a repetition of forms with the letters of the name to what became the obvious solution for the logo.
Our visual identity is built around the mark, leveraging a warm, neutral color palette and hits of nickel foil for a balance between timelessness and modernity. We also designed a custom website to keep audiences up-to-date on the progress of VIA and to showcase attractions, restaurants, and nightlife venues within steps of the hotel.

The branding of this hotel was a very crucial first step of how we would market this new hotel to the world, a hotel that no one had ever heard of before. Reform did an incredible job of listening and learning about what type of hotel we were trying to create, doing an incredible job of researching not just the neighborhood of the location of the hotel, but the history of the city and ultimately creating a brand that captured the very essence of what we had envisioned from day one of this project.
