E-commerce website created for Bigface Brands in collaboration with Brandmonger.co.
BIGFACE is a coffee company developed by professional basketballer, Jimmy Buttler that offers limited, unique selections of coffees, apparel, and branded gear. The idea was formed in 2020 inside the NBA “Bubble” at Disney World where Jimmy, using his own espresso machine, served coffee to his teammates and colleagues.
Reform Studio was tasked with creating the e-commerce website and digital experience of the BIGFACE brand.

The BIGFACE identity came to us in impeccable form—brutalist design with a throwback NASA aesthetic. Our task was to imagine the brand in a digital setting and craft the UI/UX for their e-commerce website. We began our journey by creating a grid system based on the Bigface wordmark that acts as a foundation for all other elements. From there we placed a high emphasis on utilizing only the most essential graphic elements, leaning into fluid interaction, immersive frames, and scroll jacking to host both interest and functionality. The end goal was to create a memorable and seamless experience for the user and show the products at their best. We also built a robust design system for the site that will allow for future growth and functionality.
The final product is minimalist in form and smooth in function. The expansive and immersive image frames break up the large areas of white space. The website finds its beauty in its simplicity, both in aesthetics and function.
